Google Ads for Google

“We do not need a marketing Department’, Mr. Bajaj had proclaimed back in the 1980’s as the buyers of Bajaj scooters would line up 20 years in advance. It was in stark contrast to David Packard’s philosophy of ‘Marketing is too important to be left to the marketing department.’ In the contemporary world, Google represents the former as it has grown in popularity only on the good old word of mouth philosophy.
But things are changing! Google has poached Andy Berndt, formerly the co-president of Ogilvy & Mather, New York to lead a bunch of highly charged enthusiasts of the in house advertising agency deviced to meet Google’s advertising needs! Google, which spent half as much as Yahoo and one fourth as much as its rival, ask.com in 2006, will now brace itself for a barrage of marketing activities to popularise its suite of applications which are growing by the day. Google always believed in advertising. Now, this time, quite lietarally!
