SP Jain to give Rs 20 lakhs seed fund to its students

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research announced that it would provides funds upto Rs 20 Lakhs to students wanting to start their own businesses.
The business school has set up an entrepreneurship cell in association with National Entrepreneurship Network with an objective to encourage entrepreneurship amongst students. Last year 5 students decided to take the plunge and this time SP Jain expects at least 20 students.
The announcements goes well with the current somber MBA job market. For the past several years, MBA job market in India have seen a 30% increase in salary over the preceding year but this year the salaries look flat.
