Tata Nano to launch by feb end?

Insider news suggests that Tata Nano should be in showrooms by end of February. Well, atleast the demo model so that people can started test driving the world’s cheapest car.

It is still unknown if the dealership will start taking bookings from people. In these tough economic times, it’ll be wasteful if Nano decides not yo take bookings. The company would get a much needed capital infusion ( who wouldn’t like that these days) as well as could serve as a demand indicator. Earlier Tata had expected the demand to come from the two-wheeler owners but I think now it could very easily eat into Maruti800 as well as Maruti Swift’s demand.

Also, it has been reported that Tata will be manufacturing the enigones at it’s Pune’s reseearch plant due to the shifting of the plant from Bengal.
