So what if India has been ranked World No 1 in the AT Kearney Global Retail Index, 2006. So what if the organized and unorganized retail market in India will grow to $427 billion by 2010 and $637 billion by 2015. That’s no big deal for our Government! Kamal Nath, the Commerce Minister has confirmed that there are no immediate (or late) plans for opening up the retail sector.

Steve Ballmer has a dream. Who said that the right is reserved with entrepreneurs? This CEO of Microsoft feels that the future lies in Health! While many say that he has the right to remain silent as much as he has the right to dream! He says that his vision will soon be fulfiled when Microsoft enters this very delicate and not so computer friendly health sector which Google tried to tinker with unsuccessfully.

Hello folks. This is not a review of the book, ‘A History of the World in Six glasses.’ I had a chance to have a chat with Tom Standage, the Business Editor of The Economist and he was kind to send us across the autographed copy of his book. The book charts the history of drinks, namely tea, coffee, spirits, beer, rum and Coca Cola: The six drinks that changed the world. Formula 1 in India by 2010

As Kimi Raikkonen upset Lewis Hamilton at the Chinese Grand Prix, Suresh Kalmadi of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) announced (this time, officially) that India would indeed host the Grand Prix in early 2010. A contract to that effect has been signed bewtween Bernie Ecclestone and the IOA which shall hold ground for 10 years.
