Bal Thackeray and Bhujbal renew friendship
By Aditya Mhatre at 8 February, 2009, 1:15 am
After the recent bonding between Kalyan Singh and Mulayam Singh, it was time for long time adversaries to renew their friendship before the election. Chaggan Bhujbal visited Bal Thackeray’s house with his family for dinner which obviously has the political circles in atleast mumbai talking about it. Bhujbal, the current deputy CM of Maharashtra had quit Shivsena in 1991 and had joined Indian National Congress and then moved on to Sharad Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party.
When asked about the Bhujbal-Thackeray dinner meeting, Sharad Pawar said that its no big deal since he had an invitation as well. Also, Bhujbal recently withdrew a 10 year old defamtion case against Thackeray which is further adding perspectives to this dinner meeting.
