Cutting Edge Spiritual Technology

In an age where “new age” invigoration methods abound, one seeker went ahead and tried and tested what became second nature. It was just last month that I went ahead and tried something that I had meant to try for the last seven! years. I threw aside procrastination galore and went ahead with that karma. The “spiritual technology in question is Sudarshana Kriya, something that may ring a bell to many, but not much more. Believe me, I loved it.
The teacher was an Art of Living guy called MaheshGiri, someone who had spent half his life as a renunciate in the wild, a tiny bit as a well worshipped sadhu, and about the last five years as an Art of Living teacher. What made him give up his status as a living god? You have to experience that yourself. And when you do, you will realize that it is just the beginning of a long, long journey.
My first day (of the six day course) was spent diving right into the heart of the matter. I was taught the necessary wherewithal to prepare myself for Sudarshana Kriya. In addition there were a number of games to break the ice between participants. And they were enjoyable. I noticed that some of the participants were deep seekers, others were there at the behest of their friends not knowing the depth of the journey that they had just begun.
I will not spoil the suspense for you by telling you what transpired in those six days. Suffice to say, I learnt a technique that gave me a cold in the nose and warmth in my heart. I found the path that leads to somewhere we all want to go. The technique gets all the negativity out of the system and with such force! Apparently it was discovered by Sri Sri Ravishankar when meditating in a forest for enlightenment. He got his enlightenment and we got the Sudarshan Kriya.
Whenever I meet someone nowadays, I recommend the Basic Course of the Art of Living to them. It costs a bit, but this goes to welfare work around the world. Don’t knock it till you have tried it. A toast to the foremost in Spiritual Technology!
