The Illusion

In our daily lives we lay great emphasis in believing only what we could see. A very popular saying also declares, “Seeing Is Believing”. If we ponder over this statement a little in depth we find that we actually believe in many things that we cannot see (I mean physically cannot see). The most basic element that we cannot see but only feel is the oxygen/ air we breathe.
There are other invisible rays / energy that we cannot see but enjoy their benefits in day to day lives. X-Rays is one of the brilliant examples of this use. We cannot see X- rays but it can pierce the flesh of the body and photograph the inner organs.
The Sanskrit word “Rishi” means “A seer”. This is an incredibly apt title given to people who possessed the power to see. The Power to see the through the illusions we are surrounded with. The image of a seer in our minds is that of a hermit who lives alone in a hut with a beard. Anybody and everybody who could pierce through the illusion is a seer. Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, Einstein, Edison, the Wright Brothers all could believe in something no one could see, feel, imagine and create. They are the seers of the modern world. The modern world owes its all vibrant nature to men of such stature. They defeated the odds and created what they set out to.
The illusions of the world are strong. We live in them every day. The Earth is round, but we see it flat. We are moving around the sun at a speed of 67000 miles an hour. We are also moving along with the Sun around the Center of our galaxy and moving along with the Galaxy in the Intergalactic Space, but we do not feel that we move an inch. We can’t see anything of our bodies is comprised of, but it has organs, organ systems, cells and DNA. We don’t see the energy that moves us, but we keep moving without knowing or even questioning, how am I moving, walking, running and creating. We can’t see the internet or the software and use them everyday. Still we do not believe in the unseen. We question its existence, the existence of unseen. The unseen has powers beyond measure.
It is time for humanity to uplift itself and look into the unseen. In the womb of the unseen lie the discoveries of the future. The knowledge that will make our planet take the quantum leap. The quantum leap that humanity took as Newtonian Physics paved a way for Industrial Revolution. The quantum leap that humanity took with Mobile communications and Internet unifying the world as it is today.
The next Quantum Leap of Humanity should free us from the entrapments of our physical limitations. And most importantly it should come for humanity as a whole or at least a critical mass (so that rest of us have hope to join the critical mass). This quantum leap should absolve us from our fears. Yes, I dare o dream about a utopian world in this quantum leap. It can be reality in the power of unseen. And it can be created if the collective conscience of the critical mass tries to seek it.
I just conclude with a very famous quote to beat the illusion of imperfection, “Our Deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light not our darkness that frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually who you are not to be? You are child of the Universe. Your Playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of the Universe that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in every one. And as we let our own light shine , we unconsciously ,give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear , our presence automatically liberates others.”
PS: The last quote is from the book,” A course in miracles”.
