India politicians - the best marketeers and publicists in India

Lalu Prasad Yadav, the country’s railway minister was had been to Harvard University recently to deliver a speech on how he turned around India railways into profitability which makes me think why dont Indian business schools call political parties like MNS, Sri Rama Sena as guest lecturers as experts in the field of marketing and publicity.
MNS has effectively used the anti North Indians plank to expand its voter base in Maharashtra. And now, Sri Rama Sena with its Mangalore pub attack has managed to make a mark at the national level. Currently, the organization was functional in Karnataka and Delhi and now its Rajasthan unit has become functional. And by next month, it plans to launch units in Maharashtra, Andhra, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and Uttar Pradesh. I am sure their modus operandi will remain the same. Attack the most vulnerable and gain free media space.
The media and the public become mere puppets in their hands. We start campaigns against them, media launches front page attacks on them and all this only emboldens them to expand their base. Have we ever seen any politician moved by farmer suicides, caste apartheid, exploitation of poor children (of course we moved enough to protest when a Slumdog millionaire is made) and protesting against such issues? A girl was beaten up by Bajrang Dal activists in Karnataka and she committed suicide the next day. Has any single politician come out to protest against this? Police has not arrested even a single person in this case. Have you read any news about pink, red, purple chaddis campaign being launched against abysmally low sex ratio and high female infanticide cases in northern India?
Sadly, I cannot think of any solution. You are damned if such incidents go unnoticed and you are damned if you give them so much importance. It has become a win win situation for the politicians.
