Yahoo acquisition - Will it be Microsoft or Google?

This story has already been over reported in all sorts on only media but it is very difficult to hold myself back to write about it. So basically what happened was that Microsoft wrote a love letter to the Yahoo board saying that its is ready to pay $31 per share in cash or stock which if you do the numbers correctly comes to about $44 billion.

For an entrepreneur or any businessman, it’s always a pleasure when a big company shows interest in acquiring your business. Besides the money, I think it’s the incredible high that one gets of having created something that is so valuable that a big company wants to buy it.

“Crazy Valuation,” exclaimed the web community when ebay bought out Skype a couple of years ago for a sum which has left it gasping for breath today. $2.6 billion was a lot of money then and is a lot of money now!
