Best free softwares for your business

I am just going to say it, I am a cheap guy when it comes to paying for software. So I thought it would be great to give you an insight into the free services that we use at Indicast to run the show.

All the things listed below do require some technical knowledge but I am sure you can find one of your freinds to do it for you or else just drop in a word to me. Some of the application below have a premium version available but the free version have so far sufficed us at Indicast.

Email/Calendar/IM: Two words, Google Apps. Google has a free as well as premium service for the SMEs. We use Google Mail for our theindicast.com email. There are two flavours of this service and the free service is good enough for most of the startups or small businesses that I know of. Google Calendar is the best�free service available.�You have an option�of making your calendar public or keep it private.�
CRM: vTiger CRM application is the simplest free CRM system available in the market. I love the fact that it’s opensource and tweaks can be easily made within a short time.
Online Collaboration : Yugma is a simple service that allows you to have online video/audio conference along with features like desktop & application �sharing. You can also use it to collaborate with offsite team members, give virtual presentations, hold webinars, streamline workflow, provide remote tech support.
