iPod Tip: Copy songs from iPod to computer

Recently, I wanted to move my iPod songs to a windows computer but iTunes doesn’t allow you to do this through its interface. I guess they think it might lead to piracy!! But there are many legitmate reasons why you would want to copy songs from an iPod to a computer. My to do this ended with a freeware software called the iDump. Now there are several softwares that allow you to do this but iDump is the first freeware.

The software cracks Apple’s complex file system protocol and lists the songs that are on your iPod. All you have to do is select the song and click the “Start Copy” button. The Output tab can be configured to select where the files will be stored on your computer.
